VINTAGE AND CLASSIC CAR SHOW 19th and 20th June 2010
What a weekend! First we had a tremendously successful “Bash” the night before with excellent entertainment from impressionist Jeff Lenton followed by a disco that got everyone up and dancing. The next day started off damp but soon turned warm and sunny to welcome the 465+ cars that entered and the approx. 3,000 members of the public that came through the gates. All of this meant that we did even better than the previous car show and have raised about £18,000 for distribution to the nominated charities (Cystic Fibrosis Trust and Lawrence Nurses) and the other local groups. Many thanks to all of you who helped before, on the day and after, to make this event the most successful to date. Not one word of complaint from those who came - only praise! Watch this space for next year's event(s)
